There are times when you plan and you see your plan going well. Then when it's almost time to sign on the dotted line things just fall apart.
I have been through that, a lot of times. Some of the plans were things I invested time and money on. Have you ever played your last card pinning everything on it? Took a risk hoping for the best?
There is nothing that hurts more than when you have already created a vision of how your plan will come into fruition. It's like you just lose part of your life.
I plan a lot and ask God for His plan to prevail.
I needed to reach maturity in understanding that if plans don't go as I hoped, it's not the end of the world.
I used to blame God for allowing me to hope for something while He “knew” it would not happen the way I imagined.
A few days ago I got so disappointed when yet another plan did not work out. I allowed myself to feel the emotions for a few hours, then I let it go.
Previously it took me years to get over a disappointment, but the growth I have gone through has made me a better person.
I do pray for my plans to work out, but I depend solely on God to make His plan prevail because I'm confident that it's perfect for me.
Let us not pretend we don't hurt when things go wrong but let us be able to let go and let God. - Avuyile Mngxitama-Diko #rookielifecoach
